The individual has been falsely identified as the brain, a chemical compound, or a sophisticated electronic device. This is simply not true.

The First Definition is an accurate definition of who or what the individual really is.
A correct definition
of you!
In its simplicity, the individual is a self-determined unit of beingness that is aware of being aware.
It creates, reasons, and exercises power of choice.
Its potential is virtually unlimited.
It has a native capacity for kindness and compassion. It recognizes truth. It grows stronger as it assumes more responsibility.
It doesn’t have a soul, it is one.
Many very clever people will try to tell you it doesn’t exist; they push to identify the individual with the material universe. They are, literally, trying to convince you that you don’t exist.
This misconception has degraded the individual and led to much of the unworkability of modern mental science as well as the failure of the humanities to keep pace with scientific advance.
